I am using TestGen on a Mac, and I cannot figure out how to make a bulleted list. If it matters, I am creating my own essay question.

Running TestGen 7.4.5 on a Windows 10 machine.
Often the cursor on the screen is not actually in the text location where you see the cursor. For example, moving the cursor either with the arrow keys to the end of the line or the End button shows the cursor several characters to the left of the end of line. Pressing the Backspace key at the point deletes characters from the end of the line, not from where the cursor appears. What this means is the active cursor is NOT where the visual cursor is.

Can a user create a custom question pool? And save custom or existing questions into that pool?

Is it possible to have short-answer or essay questions?

Is there a trial or demo version available?

I exported my exam to "Black Board 6x-9x". However I am unable to import it into my course. We are using version "Blackboard – Q4 2016: Release 3100.0.6-rel.3+cd2a24d."

i am trying to use TestGen to generate tests for my Physiology 1 course
i need to edit the question template to allow me to enter 5 (a-e) rather than 4 (a-d) choices for multiple choice questions.
how can i do this?

All it's showing under "Test Print Settings" is the number of forms option. Printing answer key and other test print settings are not showing up. This wasn't the case about a month ago when I printed out another test. What can I do?

Hi. Let's say I have selected 15 questions each from 4 chapters of the testbank. I would like to make 3 versions of the test by selecting 10 questions from each chapter randomly from the selected questions, and all the questions on each version should be randomized (that is, they should not be ordered by chapter). Thanks.

I've been working around these problems for years because I haven't found a solution.

I'm working on Macs: a MacBook Air running 10.9.5 and a new iMac. I also need to open tests and testbanks on the two PC's at work.

PROBLEMS

1) I can't enable testbank editing for any testbank. I get an error message "The path for the test directory is not valid." (This is via the Preferences tab under Tools.)

I've dumped the software and testbanks, and reinstalled everything multiple times, and I still get the message.

Does TestGen support Windows 10 64-bit? What version is required?
