TestGen runs in Windows 8; however, not all functionality is there. The Export to PDF causes problems. The processor says there is no disk and the computer gets hung up with TestGen not responding. I kill it in Task Manager. Will there be a patch or plug-in soon to accommodate Windows ?

I understand the problems associated with importing questions from Word to a Testbank. I am seeking a way of importing questions generated with TestGen and saved in a Test into a Testbank. I don't see any way of doing this. Help!

I have Testgen 7.45 on a Mac running OS X10.6.8.
Worked fine before, so my guess is that the recent problem has to do with some recent OS update.

I just installed 7.45 and when I double-click the icon nothing happens. I see in Task Manager Processes that TestGen.exe *32 is running, but it's not in the applications and there is no sign of the program operating. I installed it on both a hard drive and a USB dirve. Neither work. However, the USB drive version works on two different computers. The computer in question runs Win 7 as does one of the other computers. I've uninstalled and re-installed with no change. Ideas?

How do I uninstall Testgen?

I don't need it anymore. I am very unhappy about having .exe programs executed in my pc. I don't even know where the file or files are located.

I want to have a short answer type question that has the student list 5 different answers. Like this:

1. List the 5 areas a technician should study before taking the final exam.

New versions of TestGen and the TestGen Plugin that will provide full support for Lion (Mac OS 10.7) will be released in the near future. In addition there will be some new features in TestGen, plugin support for additional browsers, and streamlined installation.

"The file is not a proper test file. Please specify a different file" or " Error closing oputput file" error messages. Some test files won't open in TestGen 7.4. File extensions are the same as others but some open and some don't.

Is there a TestGen plug-in for the Sakai LMS?

When I try to print in TestGen 7.4.5 on a Mac OSX 10.5.7 I get an error message that says some margins are smaller than the printer allows. How do i fix this? I also can't export to a PDF. I get the same error message when I try to do that.
