I've downloaded the TestGen 7.7.1 from the Pearson website and everytime I try to open it I receive Testgen quit unexpectedly. I am running MacOS 10.15.3

The Practice HTML Test export option is no longer listed as an option. Is this normal?

I have a disc for TestGen7, but when I try to install it, the "TestGen 7 Setup" file doesn't work. I get an error message saying "You can't open the application because it may be damaged or incomplete."

Is there a better version of the setup file somewhere?

The publisher of the textbook I'm using is moving to TestGen from Wimba Diploma for their printed exam/test software. I've spent a lot of time creating my exams already. Will I have to duplicate my efforts, or can TestGen open up Diploma .EF files?

i would like to create test variants for import into moodle and multiple variant option fits this task beautifully.

however, when changing variants using 'calculate new values' function, the variants are shuffled randomly, i.e. when having e.g. six variants and recalculating six times you will not necessarily get six test versions with all variants (which is of course not random).

please let me know if there an option to force 'cycling' through variants to ensure creating versions with all different variants?

Whenever I export as a zip QTI file and upload to canvas I experience an issue with images not transferring over. I am using the new TestGen on Catalina and this is the first Time I have experienced this issue.

After updating to the new version of TestGen, the majority of the problems have been solved. However, when I am creating a new test bank and I try to "Update list, add, delete, or close" the Instructions Editor on the Properties of any kind of question, testgen quits completely. It only happen with Instructions Editor, nothing else, I tested it.

Please help, I want to be able to use this software to the best of my ability! :)

I've updated Testgen so it will run on OS Catalina. However if I export my test formatted for D2L it no longer can be converted by D2L. This is the same for QTI format. It worked with previous editions of Testgen
