Tamarack is a privately owned company that specializes in developing software for testing and assessment. Its well-known TestGen test generator and editor is used worldwide by instructors to create both static and algorithmic tests in technical and non-technical subject areas.

TestGen 7.4.4 is now available through the "Check for Updates" option on TestGen's Help menu or from your publisher's TestGen web site. In this version, testbanks and tests are truly cross-platform and can be opened with TestGen on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Mac OS through 10.6 without conversion. Along with minor bug fixes, the new version also includes the ability to export tests to Blackboard 6.x to 9.x. 

EASY TO UPGRADE: Instructors who still have TestGen 5.5 and Windows XP or Vista are encouraged to upgrade to TestGen 7 in order to take advantage of its easy on-screen editing and updated layout. See a full list of features and hardware requirements when you learn more about TestGen 7.
