Page References on Answer Key

Hi - How can I get page number references for the test Answer Key without looking up every single question? Thanks!

TestGen Forums:

Some testbanks have the page number references filled out and others do not. Assuming the questions contain page references you can make them appear in the answer key as follows:

1) Bring the test up in the edit panel.
2) With the Standard Tool bar visible, click on the gold key icon just to the left of the BI button.
3) In the key tab of the Test Options window near the top Show answer key should be checked.
4) In the check boxes to the right of Show on key: be sure that the page reference check box is checked.

At this point you can click Set as default if you like for future tests. The page references will appear below each answer on the answer key provided they were filled out in the testbank.

Thanks! I did this, and the "Page Ref" is blank on the Answer Key. Does this mean that they are not included with this test bank? Is there a way to find page references without looking up every single question of the test?

You are correct, that behavior indicates that the page ref descriptor was not included in the question data of your testbank. The only way to fix that would be to add the information to your testbank before adding the questions to a test. When adding the information to the questions in the testbank you select questions that would have the same page reference and add the information. It is a pretty big job to update an entire testbank. If you want to take this on I would be happy to give more detail about how to add the information.
