TestGen Plug-in

Web browser plug-in for online tests.

Help!

Need TestGen for Stat final on MyStatLab(Pearson). I downloaded the software and plan to take the exam on Chrome browser. Installed the plug in necessary on Chrome. On a trial test for TestGen it did not detect TestGen, prompts this "Chrome users need to allow the TestGen plug-in by clicking the puzzle piece icon in the address bar and choosing the "Always allow plug-ins" option."- only problem is there is no option to do that at all. Possibly its in the "Options" part of the chrome extension, but it does not allow you to click on that.

latest release not working for window 10

TestGen plugin is not working at all for windows 10.

I download the windows installer from here http://wpslive.pearsoncmg.com/cmg_student_testgen_1/. Install looks to go smooth, where it automatically installs to chrome extensions. But when I try to take a test in MyMathLab it prompts me to download the latest version again and resupplies the link I just showed.

Am I doing something wrong?

Am I drunk, or is it your setup file?

So you say that the TestGen Plug-in doesn't work with the 64-bit version of IE. Why then, on a 64-bit PC, does TestGen install to C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Plugins?? That's the 64-bit directory. TestGen Plug-in should be installing to Program Files (x86). I tried copying the files to the x86 dir but no joy.

In addition, your support page lists three files that should be present. However, after installing, xwrapper.ocx is not in any folder.

Installing the TestGen Plugin Silently

I was wondering if there was a way to install the TestGen plugin silently for Firefox.

I was able to get it to install silently for Internet Explorer using the following commands:

TestGen Plugin 7.4 loading but no content

I am a student using myPearson.com for an application called MyMathLab. It uses the TestGen Plugin Ver. 7.4. Since you guys designed this plug-in I thought that I might get some help here. I am able to do homework and practice tests and quizzes but when I click on the "I am ready to take test" tab I get this message in Internet Explorer, "URL: File not found". If I use FireFox I don't get any error message but the only thing I can see is the section numbers of the quiz - nothing else loads!

TestGen Plugin silent install

I would like to silently push out the TestGen Plugin 7.4. What would be the correct command line switches to silently install and install the active x control for Internet Explorer/Windows XP SP3.

TestGen Forums:

I installed TestGen 7.4, but my firefox has started to close randomly...

I installed TestGen 7.4 and took a practice test. Everything loads correctly, but my browser (Firefox 3.0.11) shut down in the middle of the test three times at seemingly random intervals.
